The Five Parmigiana Subs
Five of the seven subs at Joe’s Pizza Italian Cuisine & Bar follow the same formula: a fresh sub roll, house marinara, and melted Parmesan (the Chicken and Eggplant versions add mozzarella too). What changes is the main filling.
- Meatball Parmigiana Sub ($10.00) — house-made meatballs, rich marinara, melted Parmesan.
- Sausage Parmigiana Sub ($10.00) — Italian sausage, house marinara, melted Parmesan.
- Chicken Parmigiana Sub ($10.00) — breaded chicken, house marinara, melted Parmesan and mozzarella. Covered in more depth in the Chicken Parmigiana guide.
- Eggplant Parmigiana Sub ($10.00) — breaded eggplant, house marinara, melted mozzarella and Parmesan. The meatless option in the lineup.
- Veal Parmigiana Sub ($12.00) — veal cutlets, house tomato sauce, melted Parmesan. The most expensive of the seven.
The Two Non-Parmigiana Subs
The remaining two subs are built differently — no marinara, no baked cheese:
- Philly Steak Sub ($11.00) — tender sliced steak with sautéed mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers.
- Italian Sub ($11.00) — layers of ham, salami, and creamy provolone with Italian seasonings. The only sub on the list that isn’t built around a hot, sauced filling.

- Want something richer? Veal Parmigiana, at $12.00, is the most substantial of the Parmigiana subs.
- Not in the mood for marinara? Philly Steak or the Italian Sub — neither uses house marinara or baked cheese.
